Sandy Van focuses her practice on personal injury law, auto accidents, premise liability, slip & falls, dangerous and defective medical devices, products, and drugs, and is licensed to practice law in Nevada state and federal courts and Washington state courts. She is an alumni of William S. Boyd School of Law. While studying law, she externed for the Honorable Judge Nancy Saitta (formerly Justice Nancy Saitta of the Nevada Supreme Court) in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada. Following law school, she clerked for Honorable David Barker, District Court Judge, Clark County, Nevada (formerly the Chief Judge of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada.) Prior to law school, Sandy earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Sandy has also won Avvo’s Client’s Choice Award for 5 years and counting from 2013-2017.
Ms. Van has practiced at local firms in District Court in areas of civil litigation, business litigation matters, real estate matters, deficiency issues, foreclosures, contract matters, personal injury matters, and collection matters.
She opened Van Law Firm in 2012 with only 2 employees and has grown the firm to over 100 employees and independent contractors. Van Law Firm is centrally located in Las Vegas off Charleston and Jones.
Ms. Van of Van Law has a strong belief in helping the community. For the 2018 school year, she donated approximately $3,000.00 worth of school supplies to our local Clark County teachers. In addition to the school supply donation, Ms. Van donated her time at the local foodbank Three Square. She also donated thousands of dollars who to individuals who are badly injured. She also spends countless hours mentoring other attorneys in how to successfully manage a practice. Her desire to care for the community extends nationwide as she made donations to Texas and Florida in 2017 for the devastating hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
